It’s undeniable that leopard print is evocative; you either love it or hate it. For some, the print is just another neutral, while for others it’s an unreasonably loud statement best kept to accessories. Christian Dior ushered leopard into mainstream fashion when he included the print as part of his “New Look” collections in the late 1940s. Icons like Jackie O, Sophia Loren, and Diane von Furstenberg later solidified the print’s reputation as both feminine and fierce. In keeping with that tradition, some of the latest street-style looks are pairing leopard with bold colors and modest silhouettes.
