Eighty-five degrees, sunny, low humidity… it’s the best beach day. So you slather on sunscreen, put on your cute new bathing suit and spend the day in the sun.
Not so fast. There’s an extremely important part of your body you’ve completely overlooked. Even worse, it’s a tricky place to apply sunscreen, but burns extremely easily.
Nope, it’s not the space between your toes (although yeah, apply sunscreen between your toes, too). It’s your scalp. If the part of your hair leaves any area of your scalp exposed, you’re leaving a very sensitive portion of your skin susceptible to sun damage.
