Earlier today, Angela Bassett, Chloe Grace Moretz, America Ferrera, and Dennis Quaid announced nominations for the upcoming Golden Globe Awards, which will be hosted on January 10 by Ricky Gervais. As a refresher: This particular award show not only serves as a kickoff to red-carpet season, but it’s also a precursor to the Oscars.
Some of this year’s buzziest nominees include Carol, Trainwreck, Empire, as well as the stars of Orange Is the New Black and Shonda Rhimes’ How to Get Away with Murder.
Given the impressive on-screen style in Carol and Empire, we’re hoping that the red-carpet ensembles will follow suit.
