Sober January? Sip This Easy Thyme-Ade Mocktail

If one too many holiday cocktails has resulted in swearing off alcohol for the month of January, we feel you. But who says dry drinks can’t be fun, too? Since it’s easier said than done (hello, peer pressure), we’re sharing a super-chic thyme-infused mocktail recipe from Shape magazine’s January issue to celebrate your gusto. This limeade twist is about to become your new signature drink for 2016 – with or without alcohol. We’ll cheers to that!

THYME-ADE MOCKTAIL

Ingredients

1 bunch fresh thyme
1½ ounces lime juice
1 ounce simple syrup
Club soda

Directions

Muddle one sprig of thyme with the lime juice and simple syrup in a cocktail shaker.
Strain into a glass filled with ice, top with a splash of club soda, and garnish with a few thyme sprigs.
Spike it: If you want an extra kick come February, add 1½ ounces gin or aged rum.
