Is there anything more festive than Selena Gomez in a suede trench coat and leather pants? If you answered, “no,” then you haven’t seen Coach’s new holiday campaign. (Or your’e a scrooge, but we won’t tell.)
To celebrate the most wonderful time of the year, the 26-year-old returned as the face of the American fashion label’s new holiday campaign video titled, “Lights, Camera, Holiday,” which was written and directed by creative duo Henry and Rel of Supermarché.
Along with some delightful animated animals, Gomez auditions for the holiday role of a lifetime — which, as it turns out, is not a part in an actual Lifetime holiday flick (anyone else ready for Jingle Belle? No?), but a spot in Coach’s holiday windows. While the competition is fierce, the actress proved that was up for the role, sharing “I can stand still so good,” when asked by the judges why she’s got what it takes to be in the window.
Along with the short film, the multi-hyphenate star is also featured in a series print ads for Coach’s holiday 2018 collection. Shot against a snowy New York skyline, Gomez shows off the label’s latest range of clothing and accessories including their metallic leather Parker bag.
While the singer looks ready to steal the spotlight, she’s been keeping things relatively quiet online. Within the last month, Gomez announced that she would be taking a social media hiatus and has been reportedly seeking mental health treatment at a facility.
With everything going on in the Gomez’s personal life, it’s great to see the star teaming up with her Coach family for such a spirited campaign. The “Back to You” singer and the fashion brand first collaborated back in December 2016.
