Four Seasons, One Shirt: How to Wear Your Button-Front Year-Round

There are some shirts that are strictly seasonal due their fabric. Case in point: seersucker is a summer material, while flannel is a fall one. You can wear most other tops, however, from one season to the next – with the right styling, that is. Check out how I took one purple button-front all the way from fall to summer.

Autumn is all about the layers. Simply add a buttery leather jacket (a seasonal must-have), and you’ll look cool while keeping warm.

‘Tis the season for holiday party invitations to start filling up your inbox. Partner that button-front with a wool suit and add a bow tie to bring it up a festive notch.

Chinos are an American essential – and a spring staple. Throw them on, add a navy tie, and tackle the workday.

The warm-weather months are decidedly more casual. Roll up your sleeves, put on a pair of jeans, and head out of the office a little early for some alfresco dining.
