The oversized Santa costume you’ve become accustomed to seeing? Well, that look is – dare we say it – a bit passé. This year, Toronto’s Yorkdale Shopping Centre introduced us to a sleeker, more modern “Fashion Santa.” And he has a penchant for John Varvatos, Salvatore Ferragamo, and Diesel.
Clad in winter white layers and an edgy red leather motorcycle jacket and sporting a well-groomed beard, this version of Father Christmas also makes children’s dreams come true. Every selfie taken with Fashion Santa and posted to social media using the hashtag #YorkdaleFashionSanta will result in a $1 donation to Sick Kids Foundation.
Good-looking and charitable? We like this new Santa.
