This year, we witnessed a slew of celebs step up their style games and cause some major aha! moments in the process. As the year comes to a close, we’re looking back at (and taking outfit cues from) our three favorite fashionistas of 2016.

Emma Watson
Since Emma launched her campaign HeForShe, she’s spoken at places like the UN. To dress the part for her new public platform, the actress sported chic, neutral separates, like a camel-colored pencil skirt paired with a turtleneck and suede kitten heels. For the red carpet, Emma took an even more daring approach, in dress-over-pants styling and whimsical printed gowns.

Blake Lively
Maternity has never looked so good! Pregnant with her second child, Blake wasted no time putting her baby bump on display. Promoting her film Cafe Society at Cannes, she delighted fans with her Cinderella moment in a pale-blue tiered skirt. For other appearances, Blake played up her femininity with floral midi dresses and nodded to the 80s trend with crimped hair. It was a world tour of fearless looks.

Chrissy Teigen
While Chrissy certainly has her signature looks (e.g. long silk coats and sky-high stilettos), she is continuously surprising us with her on-trend and accessible outfits. Our favorite sightings of the TV personality (and now mom to the cutest baby ever, Luna) are as she’s coming and going on the NYC streets. OTK boots and sweaterdresses? Check. High-waisted trousers and off-the-shoulder sweaters? Double check.
