From type-A organized to decidedly cluttered, we like to think that a person’s wall art choices are a reflection of their personal style. And the beauty of wall art is that with a few adjustments, you can create a whole new look. So we took to Pinterest to check out three wall-hanging styles:
Simple & Straight
Inspiration: these framed fern prints.
Tip: To keep frames perfectly in line, tape up the underside of gridded wrapping paper on the wall to use as a guide.
Everything in Moderation
Inspiration: this at-home office.
Tip: Just dipping your toes into framed artwork collages? Use a large-scale piece of furniture (like a table or desk) as an anchor and hang your pieces above that. It will give structure to the chaos.
The More the Merrier
Inspiration: this picture-packed foyer.
Tip: If you’re showcasing a mash-up of sizes, shapes, and types of artwork (photographs, prints, and kids’ handiwork), let a single-color frame be the equalizer.
