The number one thing to know about international shipping? How to select your country. (Hey, it’s number one for a reason.) We’ve added a little flag to our top navigation bar. To switch from one country to another, click on that flag. From the “Ship To” dropdown, pick your country. From the currency dropdown, pick your preferred monetary unit. Finally, click “Update” and – drumrolllll – you’re in!
Shopping on a mobile web browser? The drill is similar, with a slight twist. To get to that flag, hit the settings/gear icon in the top-right corner. It will expand and you’ll see the flag there. Follow the process above and you’re shipshape.
Next up, the checkout page. If you’ve used Rue in the past, you’ll notice this page looks a little bit different for international orders. That’s because our shipping superpowers are a team effort. We’ve partnered with an organization called Borderfree to get your packages to you. You will see its name not just on the checkout page but also on your order confirmation and order shipped emails.
The final (and we’d argue most important) note: How much does it cost to ship? Because of our partnership and because we like to give you the best deals we can, our shipping is low-cost. It starts at the flat rate of USD 9.95. And it varies by country (and how fast you want to ship it). To make everything stress-free, we also give you the option to roll all taxes, landing fees, and additional costs right into your final order total. (Note: You can pay landing fees later if you want.) That way, you can focus on the new styles coming your way – not on making time to intercept the mailman.
