PRINT MAGAZINE CLOSURES
This year brought it all: fresh faces, never-seen-before (and some seen-before) trends, and seriously memorable moments. And we’re celebrating 2017’s crowd favorites in typical Rue Now fashion, with our annual All-Stars series.
For the magazine industry, the writing has been on the wall, and 2017 saw a lot of change as legacy editors exited publications like ELLE and Vanity Fair. Everyone’s teenage bible Nylon folded its print publication, moving to digital, as did PeopleStyle. Then, to break our 15-year-old hearts further, Teen Vogue announced its reduction from monthly mags to quarterly. But, in true Anna Wintour fashion, Conde Nast is offering a glimmer of hope… with a new publication. Introducing Goop Magazine, from Gwyneth Paltrow and the editor-in-chief herself. The only question we have is: Where can we subscribe?
