Pastels are the center of our attention these days, so when this pale-pink hot chocolate entered our universe, we knew we had to make it for ourselves. And it did not disappoint (our taste buds or our Instagram likes).
PINK HOT CHOCOLATE
Makes 2 servings
Ingredients
1 white chocolate bar
2 cups milk
Red food coloring (liquid)
Vanilla (optional)
Cinnamon (optional)
Directions
1. Break the white chocolate bar into pieces and place into a small saucepan.
2. Add about 2 cups of milk and turn on the stove to low.
3. If desired, sprinkle cinnamon and a teaspoon of vanilla for more flavor.
4. Stir continuously until it begins to simmer. Turn off the heat and add red food coloring until you reach your desired pink color.
5. Pour into two mugs and top with whipped cream or marshmallows.
