Look Back at This 1960s Holiday Window Display

The holidays always serve up a hefty dose of nostalgia, with all that eggnog and the stocking your grandma made oh-so-many years ago. Take a break from the glitzy, eye-popping window displays you see today and travel back to the 1960s – a decidedly simpler time.

This photo, shot by Ronald Sanderson and donated to the Tyne & Wear Archives & Museums, is a far cry from the freshly cut ice sculptures currently at Barneys, right?
