Even if you aren’t a Little Monster, the recent shift in Lady Gaga’s style from avant-garde (remember that meat dress?!) to Old Hollywood glamour is hard to miss. But today, we’re seeing a more subdued side of the superstar as she promotes her upcoming album release, Joanne. Gaga walked the red carpet of the 88th Annual Academy Awards in a Brandon Maxwell original. The pantsuit-gown was based off of a white jumpsuit that the singer had spotted at Maxwell’s Fall 2016 show in February, building on the Old-Hollywood-meets-new aesthetic that she has been working as of late.

Gaga embraced this menswear-inspired look from Azzedine Alaia for a night out in Paris. The singer took to the city streets in the ultimate French schoolgirl outfit, featuring a tailored blazer, flirty pleated miniskirt, white oxford blouse, and black ribbon tie. She accented the outfit with pink pumps over white ankle-biter socks, a proper pink satchel, and a pair of statement cat-eye sunglasses.

The singer stunned in Brandon Maxwell (her close friend and stylist) while toasting the best of style at the British Fashion Awards. She looked elegant with her slicked-back blonde locks, which complemented her classic black gown. But in true Gaga style, she finished off her outfit with trademark killer platform heels.
