If you are a pop star in 2019 and you don’t have a clothing line, do you really exist? Who knows. But Justin Bieber no longer has to answer that question, because Justin Bieber just launched his own fashion line.
Called Drew House — a reference to his middle name — the line has been in the works since at least February of last year, when he trademarked the names “Drew,” “The House of Drew” and “La Maison Drew,” according to a report by The Blast. So far, the brand’s first drop looks a bit like a cross between Yeezy (see: a host of nude tones in different textures) and Bieber’s own signature oversized, skater-influenced style.
According to the Drew website, all of the pieces are “ethically made in limited quantities in Los Angeles, USA,” and range in price from $48 for a T-shirt to $148 for a pair of pants. The entire collection is unisex, and is modeled in oversized fits on both male and female models. It might not be the most ground-breaking design work we’ve ever seen, but considering how successful Bieber’s merch collaboration with Jerry Lorenzo was back in 2016, there’s a good chance that we’ll be seeing plenty of Gen Z kids sporting tan corduroy hoodies very soon.
