Fashionable Hostess | Amanda S. Gluck
I have been having so much fun decorating the bar cart on my patio, and while my fall display was beautiful, the kids were excited to shift gears toward Halloween ever since we started brainstorming costumes! To create my Halloween bar cart, I added cutesy details like a cup full of Halloween straws and assorted-size jars filled with M&M’S® in candy corn flavor (yes, that’s a thing!), faux pumpkins, and copper accents like this hammered pitcher. Then the finishing touch was twirling an autumn garland around the side of the cart!
But the real fun part was whipping up a cocktail recipe for my Moscow Mule mugs, which ended up being an apple cider sangria (I was inspired by this awesome list of apple cider cocktail recipes on Real Simple). I know sangria at this time of year sounds a little strange, but I am such a wine lover, and the fresh peaches are the perfect color for Halloween! I created a full shoppable list of the items I used to style my bar cart below.
