The Golden Globe Awards Best-Dressed List

The People’s Choice Awards wasn’t even a week ago and yet we’re already on to awards show number two: the Golden Globes. With a red carpet that included everyone from Julia Roberts to Taylor Swift, my best-dressed list is a true mix of Hollywood heavyweights and a new breed of style icons.

The Best-Dressed at the Golden Globes

  1. Margot Robbie
The Wolf of Wall Street actress showed she’s a fashion force to be reckoned with in a Gucci jeweled-trim gown with a thigh-high slit.
  2. Olivia Wilde
Now this is pregnancy done right. Wilde’s slinky emerald sequined Gucci dress showed off her curves but kept her covered. Wavy ombre hair, nude lips, and a sleek clutch made the look fresh and fun.
  3. Mila Kunis
This look was all about the details. A gunmetal Gucci dress, smoky eyes, and a sleek updo all worked in sync on the presenter.
  4. Lupita Nyong’o
The 12 Years a Slave Best Supporting Actress nominee was named one of Vogue’s 10 Rising Style Stars for a reason. She somehow pulled off a bright red Ralph Lauren cape without looking even remotely like a superhero.
  5. Cate Blanchett
Okay, so she’s an obvious choice for an obvious reason. The Blue Jasmine actress was striking in an architectural Armani Privé lace and tulle gown.
