Summer is the best time of year to use up those vacation days and plan a weekend trip. But let’s be real: As much as a trip by the lake sounds amazing, camping isn’t for everyone. (Ahem, bugs? No thanks.) That’s where glamping comes in. Today, we’re dishing on glamping essentials, and what to wear on your outdoor (but still kind-of indoor) adventure.
What’s glamping, you ask? It’s just what it sounds like – camping with a touch of glam. For your time outside, bring a portable grill and some glasses for endless sangria. When it comes to blankets, the more the better. Spend the evening under the stars, and then retreat to your hotel or that Instagrammable Airbnb you’re staying in.
Now, onto what to wear. Despite having “glam” in its name, glamping calls for some laid-back clothing. So rock ripped jeans, a baggy tee, and your lived-in sneakers. Keep some layering pieces (like a cozy hoodie) in your arsenal in case it gets cool.
