An Instagram-worthy take on a classic cocktail that’s almost too cute to even drink? Thanks to Refinery29, it’s right here in the form of a little wiggly mug.
EGGNOG MUG JELL-O SHOTS
Makes approximately 10 shots
Ingredients
1½ cups eggnog
½ cup water
3 packets Knox gelatin
½ cup bourbon
Whipped cream for topping
Mini candy canes for handles
Cinnamon for sprinkling
Cooking spray (optional)
Directions
1. Pour water into a medium saucepan. Sprinkle gelatin evenly over the top of the liquid and let it sit for 1 – 2 minutes.
2. Turn the heat up to medium and whisk in gelatin until it is completely dissolved. Remove the pot from heat.
3. Add in your eggnog and bourbon and whisk until combined.
4. Pour the liquid into plastic shot glasses. (You can spray them lightly with cooking spray for easier removal.)
5. Refrigerate for one hour or until set. Gently squeeze around the outsides of each cup to help remove the shots.
6. Break off the long ends of mini candy canes until they make even U-shapes. Then stick one into the side of each Jell-O shot. Top with whipped cream and cinnamon.
7. Serve immediately.
