As optimists, we’ve spent the past month searching for the silver lining in Chip and Joanna Gaines’s decision to end Fixer Upper. While we’ve yet to find one, we at least have the season five premiere to look forward to. When is that, anyway?
HGTV announced today that the Gaines family will debut their final season of Fixer Upper on Tuesday, November 21. The home renovation duo’s swan song will include 19 one-hour episodes featuring special guests such as former first lady Laura Bush and football-star-turned-do-gooder Tim Tebow.
As with previous seasons, the couple will continue to help the citizens of Waco, Texas, renovate fixer-uppers into their dream homes. Which led us to our next Google search: Are Chip and Joanna really ending their show because they’ve renovated every house in Waco?
Alas, Fixer Upper’s final season premiere will air on Tuesday, November 21, at 9PM ET/PT on HGTV.
Guess we’ll have to take up needlepoint or fencing or something else now…
