Every now and then a fabulous show comes along and we (and our wardrobes) are forever changed. This time around, that show is Emily in Paris. It seems like with every season that goes by, the style just gets better and better. How could we not want to recreate some of these iconic looks? Don’t be afraid to have a monochrome moment. Pro tip: Have fun with different lengths. A long overcoat over a matching mini will keep your look polished and interesting. Top things off with a printed argyle sweater to add a little something extra to your look. If monochrome’s not your thing, you can still have a look that pops with eye-catching patterns, fun textures, and contrasting colors.
To really get the Parisian look, you’ve got to act the part. We recommend taking your outfit out on the town (or at least to an outdoor cafe). There’s nothing more French than sitting outside with an espresso and croissant. And speaking of acting the part, that includes when nobody is looking. That’s right — we’re talking about when you’re at home. Fortunately, French country decor is our new favorite aesthetic.
