Here’s what you need:
1 Mason Jar (any size will do, just make sure your hand fits through the opening)
4 – 5 Lemons
Knife
Wax Paper
Fresh Flowers
Floral Shears

DIY Mason Jar Lemon Flowers CenterpieceHere’s how to DIY:

Step 1: Cut two to three slices (about 1/4-inch thick) from the center of each lemon. You want the rounds to be the same size and not too thin.

Step 2: Take the leftover ends of the lemons and stack them in the middle of the mason jar. Then take your slices and arrange them against the wall of the jar. Once it’s fully lined, use your knife to carefully remove the lemon ends.

Step 3: Grab your wax paper and wrap it around the outside of the jar. Cut the paper about 1/2 inch beyond where the ends meet at the circumference. Height-wise, cut the paper ring where the jar starts to taper in at the top. Once that’s done, carefully insert the ring into the jar and press it against the lemons to hold them in place – this will prevent floaters.

Step 4: Fill the mason jar about one-half to two-thirds full with water. Trim at least 1/2 inch off the ends of your fresh flowers. Carefully arrange the flowers in the jar. Then place the finished centerpiece on the table and wait for the compliments to pour in.
