Ballet School
The color pink, full skirts, lace-up flats. We saw these three barre-ready details from Valentino to Dior. Rosy hues will continue to be a staple in 2017, so these Swan Lake vibes aren’t leaving us anytime soon.

Black and White
The most classic of combinations came to life again in the form of graphic prints and sleek structured separates. While the pair is always a do, it’s looking more modern than ever for next year.

Victorian Vibes
The era made a comeback in dramatic necklines, peekaboo lace, and romantic ruffles. Whatever you’re more into – Victorian goth or Victorian grandeur – you’ll see these details everywhere in the seasons to come.

Military Tactics
This neat and tidy look is a mainstay, but we noticed a shift toward naval influences this year. Officer’s coats and blue-and-red combos were most prevalent. Look for modern add-ons (like bows) in 2017.

Bohemian Folk
This year, the 70s trend took on an “I’m with the band” feel. Patchwork, suede, and denim were all key items to pulling off this free-floating appeal. Next year, these pieces will take a glam turn. Think: embellishments.

Animal Instincts
Seen on cool-girl coats, leopard and snakeskin prints felt fresh in vibrant greens. These luxe patterns also work for the new year – just mix them with your florals and stripes.
