That feeling when you’re delivered a box full of clothes? Amazing. That feeling when they aren’t just right? Not so amazing. To help you avoid any letdowns, we sat with Rue Stylist Emma L. for some pointers on how to best determine your size when ordering online.
According to Emma, the secret is to have the measurements for your bust, waist, and hips ready before you click. She breaks it down below.
- Bust: Measure under your arms at your chest’s fullest point.
- Waist: Measure around your natural waistline, giving the tape a little bit of slack for a comfortable fit.
- Hips: Measure around the fullest point (usually 6 to 7 inches below your natural waist).
Now go test your skills – as if you needed another excuse to shop.
