Tonight will be a big night for two of music’s most gifted goddesses: Adele and Beyoncé. This year, they’re nominated alongside each other in four categories: Album of the Year, Record of the Year, Song of the Year, and Best Pop Solo Performance. But in real life, there’s nothing but love between these two. And since we totally support this mutual girl crush (or should we say “Queen crush”?), we’re breaking down eight de ja vu moments between the pair.

1. They were both discovered at a young age.
Adele: Can you believe she was discovered on Myspace? In 2006, at the age of 18, Adele was signed to XL Recordings after a friend posted her three-track demo on the social media site. One of the tracks would become her very first single, “Hometown Glory.”
Beyoncé: Her singing talent was uncovered at just eight years old in a dance class, when her teacher was singing a song and she finished it, hitting all the high notes.
2. They share a tie for most Grammy wins.
Adele and Beyoncé: Who run the world? Beyoncé and Adele. They each hold too many records to count, but one that they share? They’re tied at six for most Grammy wins in one night by a female.
3. They play favorites… with their own albums.
Adele: Her favorite song on her album 25 is “When We Were Young.” Describing it as “a letter to myself,” Adele said that the song is her favorite for the message it delivers: “People and relationships change and regroup, and that’s okay.”
Beyoncé: She also revealed which track on her new album Lemonade is her favorite: the gorgeous ballad “All Night,” which closes the record’s narrative on a note of love and reconciliation.
4. They have alter egos.
Adele: Her onstage alter ego is “Sasha Carter” – a combination of Beyoncé’s Sasha Fierce and country singer June Carter – to pump her up during performances. She told Rolling Stone that she came up with the character after having “a full-blown anxiety attack” while meeting Beyoncé for the first time.
Beyoncé: Five years after she introduced Sasha to the world with her third studio album, I Am… Sasha Fierce, this hot mama decided to welcome her new, even more powerful twin, “Yoncé.”
5. They love social media.
Adele: She has 27.4 million Twitter followers (Bey only has 14.6 million), but she’s not allowed to drink and tweet. In a 2015 music special, Adele revealed that she was banned by her manager from using her own Twitter account after she drunk tweeted one too many times.
Beyoncé: She has 89.6 million Instagram followers (more than four times Adele’s 22 million followers). Her second pregnancy announcement shattered the world record for the most-liked image on Instagram, with over 10 million likes.
6. They are inspired by the icons they grew up with.
Adele: She genuinely loves the Spice Girls. Adele said people often think she isn’t serious about this, but she is. “It was really a massive part of my life when the whole Girl Power thing happened.”
Beyoncé: Queen Bey credits Michael Jackson with helping her to become a mega artist: “Michael Jackson changed me and helped me to become the artist I am. Thank you, Michael.”
7. They’re fans of each other.
Adele: This Instagram quote just about sums it up: “Beyoncé is the most inspiring person I’ve ever had the pleasure of worshipping. Her talent, beauty, grace, and work ethic are all in a league of their own. I appreciate you so much! Thank god for Beyoncé X.”
Beyoncé: “When Adele sings, you can hear that it’s coming from an unfiltered honesty and purity,” she told Us Weekly. “She creates songs that go deep and expose pain and vulnerability with her soulful voice. She takes you places other artists don’t go to anymore.”
8. They both have tattoo tributes to their families.
Adele: She has five tattoos, two of which (on her hands) are for her son. They read “Angelo” and “Paradise.”
Beyoncé: Bey and husband Jay-Z have matching “IV” tattoos, which have many meanings for the couple. They each have birthdays on the fourth of the month, and their daughter’s name is Blue Ivy Carter, giving even more significance to the letters IV.
