A six-and-a-half-minute mile is already an attention-grabbing pace – but runner Gihan Amarasiriwardena turned heads far beyond the Half MerryThon course in Gloucester, MA. Why? He broke a world record for running the fastest half marathon while wearing a suit – the Aviator 2 suit and Apollo dress shirt from his own line, Ministry of Supply. Thanks to the suit’s four-way stretch fabric, it was able to survive the run.
So, gentlemen, just think about it: If this guy can sport a suit during a race, who’s to say you can’t handle wearing one on that ten-minute bike ride to work?
