Seasonal Sipping: DIY Pumpkin Cooler

Pumpkins’ main claim to fame may be jack-o’-lanterns, but don’t be too quick to count them out for grown-up crafts. Enter: the pumpkin cooler. Impress guests at a fall soiree with this fun(ctional) idea.

Ingredients:

  • 1 pumpkin (white or orange)
  • Kitchen carving knife
  • Serrated scooper (preferably metal)
  • Ice
  • Cinnamon
  • Fall-inspired spirits

Directions:

  1. Cut a large circle around the upper quarter of the pumpkin.
  2. Remove the top and thoroughly scoop out the contents. Hold on to them if you’re pie-savvy.
  3. Fill with ice until there’s about 1 to 2 inches of pumpkin left.
  4. Sprinkle the rim of the pumpkin with cinnamon.
  5. Add seasonal beverages. Celebrate immediately.
