We’re in the midst of NYFW, and there are tons of runway roundups online. As much as I love Fashion Week, it got me thinking: There’s so much inspiration around us at all times – your fashion inspo doesn’t always have to come straight off the runway. For that reason, I’m dishing on three vintage looks I’m loving for fall.

Rugbies
Does it get any more fall than a rugby? It’s a classic, but Jagger has given it his own spin. By tucking it into rocker-slim trousers and throwing on a bomber, he’s managed to give an otherwise very preppy piece a British-punk vibe.

Pleated Pants
Pleated pants are proof that trends always make a comeback. In true Bowie fashion, his are a bit dramatic – but I promise there are more subtle versions of these pants hitting the market. My styling advice? A belt is essential.

Bombers
James Dean never fails to remind us that less is more. There’s something so effortlessly cool about throwing on a lived-in T-shirt and jeans. By keeping the base of your outfit simple, you can let your bomber steal the show.
