On June 17th, Disney and Coach will create pure Disney magic with the launch of a limited-edition collection featuring the one and only – sing it with me – M..I..C..K..E..Y M..O..U..S..E!
The Disney x Coach 1941 Collection features Disney’s iconic main-mouse-man on handbags, backpacks, sneakers, T-shirts, ready to wear, and oversized dolls and shearling beanbags. They’re all starring Mickey Mouse sketches created by Disney animators on classic Coach silhouettes. Everything from crossbody bags to saddlebags to totes and, of course, a silhouette with mouse ears!
“Mickey Mouse is one of my earliest memories of American pop – his nostalgic charm, cheekiness, individuality, and inherent cool make for the ultimate American icon,” said Coach Creative Director Stuart Vevers. “I’ve always seen Mickey as a playful rebel at heart and a timeless symbol of joy and creativity. That spirit reinforces the new youthful perspective we are bringing to luxury at Coach.”
The collection is part of a series of exclusive, limited-edition projects that celebrate American pop culture and commemorate Coach’s 75th anniversary.
The entire Disney x Coach 1941 Collection will be available at coach.com and at Coach stores worldwide starting June 17th. If you’re in New York City or Paris, you’re in luck, because you can already shop it at Coach’s SoHo store and at Colette.
