Music-festival season is upon us, and we can’t help getting excited about what’s in store. Of course, there’s the actual music, but what we really love? The chance to jet off to another city and have a mini vacation – with festival-ready wardrobe in tow, of course. Here’s a peek at some of the shows we’re most looking forward to (and where we hope to stay while taking it all in).
Shaky Knees Music Festival (Atlanta): May 13 – 15
Who’s Playing: Florence and the Machine, Cold War Kids, Walk the Moon, and more

Governors Ball (New York City): June 3 – 5
Who’s Playing: The Strokes, The Killers, Kanye West, and more
Where to Stay: W New York. Consider this your Midtown recharge station – and make sure to plan time for a serious Fifth Avenue (window) shopping sesh. It’s too close to miss.
What to Pack: Be trend-first by showing a bit of skin in a crop top or a light dress with strategic cutouts. And stash your sunglasses in an easy-to-carry crossbody bag.
Lollapalooza (Chicago): July 28 – 31
Who’s Playing: Radiohead, Lana Del Ray, Ellie Goulding, and more
Where to Stay: W Chicago – Lakeshore. Call it a sleeker-than-sleek retreat with a location that can’t be beat. You’ll be on the shores of Lake Michigan, just steps from Michigan Avenue (right on The Magnificent Mile).
What to Pack: Chances are it’s going to be hot. Stay cool in a romper and some edgy jewelry. Top with a distressed denim vest to up the rock ‘n’ roll factor.
