50 Shades of White: How to Pick Your Wedding Dress Hue

Just like every other little girl, I grew up dreaming of wearing a gorgeous white wedding dress on my walk down the aisle. But at oh, five-or-so-years-old, there was one thing I didn’t take into account: there are over 200 shades of white out there, which makes the color guide below essential.

Yellow Ivory
This color is best for fair skin. With stark white you run the risk of looking washed out, while with a warm yellow ivory dress you’re guaranteed to glow.

Creamy Ivory
Medium skin tones with pinker complexions should look to creamier versions of white, so rather than looking too flushed, you’ll be the perfect blushing bride.

Stark White
Dark skin tones can pull off most shades of white, but a bright white will really complement your complexion.
