The 3 Colors to Wear Head-to-Toe This Winter

Want to avoid the jeans-and-a-sweater rut during the chilly season? Try going monochromatic. It’s just as simple to pull together on those dark, frigid mornings, but wearing the same color from top to bottom amps up the refinement. Below, we’ve rounded up our three favorite hues to pile on this winter.

White

Winter whites are classic for a reason: They always look sharp and sophisticated in the colder months. Pro tip? Wearing all-white has more impact than just a single piece alone. A warm turtleneck sweater with a wool midi skirt or corduroy jeans feels polished and effortless for work and weekend.

Blues

It’s easy to gravitate toward neutrals in the cold season, so opting for an allover color will make you stand out from the crowd. Blue offers the best of both worlds, from goes-with-everything navy to bright-and-cheery cobalt. Pull on a patterned coat in the shade of your choice, and you’ll never be lost in a sea of ubiquitous black jackets again.

Greys

Think grey is boring? Think again. When it’s styled right – as in, piled on with lots of different textures and tones – this hue just screams coziness. Start from the bottom with a pair of dark grey jeans, then layer on your beloved cashmere sweater. Top things off with a light grey hat and a bag with silver hardware. It’s like you’re bringing hygge with you every time you leave the house.
